Adriane Sanctis holds a PhD in Legal Theory and a Master's degree in International Law from the University of São Paulo (Brazil). During her doctoral studies, she was Visiting Researcher at the Erik Castrén Institute at the University of Helsinki (as a Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellow), Guest PhD Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for International and Procedural Law, and a Kathleen Fitzpatrick Doctoral Visiting Fellow with the Laureate Program of International Law at Melbourne Law School in 2017.
