Christina Nowak

Christina Nowak was a 2016 Kathleen Fitzpatrick Visiting Doctoral Fellow with the Laureate Program in International Law. In 2017, Christina completed her PhD, which was supported by a scholarship from the German National Merit Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes), at the University of Bonn. Her research focuses on the content of, and contemporary challenges to, the principle of non-intervention in civil war. She holds a law degree from the University of Cologne and has studied Public International Law and European Law at the University of Seville, Spain. During her judicial clerkship (Referendariat) she has worked at various courts and business law firms in Cologne and for the German Consulate General in Toronto, Canada.
